Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors and staff at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. As organisers, we enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all attendees and suppliers to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
If you feel that anyone is in breach of anything within this code of conduct, please contact Amy Johnstone via phone or text on 07415404559. If she is unavailable, you can liaise with Kyan or venue staff, details of whom are included further down the page.
We won't tolerate harassment of any kind. This includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Attendees asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
Should you be affected by any behaviour that could be deemed as harassment, or witness any harassing behaviour, then the WXG team may take any action they consider appropriate, including warning the offender, or their expulsion from the conference with no refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact Amy, or any Kyan or Electric Theatre staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified as they'll be wearing branded clothing and badges. Electric Theatre staff can be found at the bar area, box office desk or the offices at the front of the building.
Kyan staff will be happy to help participants contact police, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment so that they feel safe for the duration of the conference.
We request that attendees follow these rules at WXG, other Kyan events and conferences in general.
